I enjoyed a little gem today with my lunch. I got to watch this little beauty sleep while I enjoyed my Mushroom/Swiss burger at Smashburger.

The BFF trekked down to my side of town for lunch and I was sooo happy to get out of the office and see this little booger, she woke up a second after I took this picture.
My NOT Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger was quite delish though it wasn’t Truffle mayo, garlic sautéed mushrooms and aged Swiss cheese on an egg bun. It was however, mayo, mini portabello mushrooms, aged swiss and egg bun. It was quite awesome and I do have to admit at the actual restaurant it doesn’t say anything about truffle or garlic sauteed on the menu, tricky, tricky. Eating like this could totally kill anyone’s diet, waistline, heart, body, etc but one or two or three cheat days are always acceptable.
NOT a “Truffle Mushroom Swiss” burger, just a mushroom Swiss burger, RSP pretend you don’t see that smoky Applewood bacon.
I’ve only ever eaten at Smashburger twice since it popped up in Houston a few years ago however both times have been quite yummy. I still maintain that I like this place better than Five Guys because Smashburger has specialty burgers unlike Five Guys. RSP loves Five Guys even though it’s boring as heck, me, I just love their cajun fries; they’ve still got Smashburger beat there though the rosemary flavoring is a valiant effort.
I’ve also heard their shakes are pretty good but I’ve never tried it. Watching my figure ya know…
Here’s another photo for your viewing pleasure of me and Addy. Don’t you just love babies? I do but heck no I don’t want any of my own, however I heavily encourage my besties to have them yearly. Even though they curse me daily with the mantra “you’ll have your own soon”.
